The process of
creating a proper still life depiction can be a difficult and often complex
task. As I begin the process, I first decide on the selection of
elements that will be the final image.
Next, I concentrate on
shapes, line and color, with particular focus on the eye's flow through the
image. Often, this process results in a long series of repositioning
tasks until I completely satisfied.
After I have arrived at a
I start to focus on the lighting aspects. Only after completing several
photo shoots of various versions of the image composition do I make a choice
and start the process of creating a painting.
